Gus brings a rare combination of engineering rigor and systems-level thinking to the challenge of building data infrastructure that scales.
With a background in civil and computer engineering, Gus has spent his career designing the underlying architectures that allow organizations to move, trust, and act on their data. At Sungage, Gus has helped grow the Data Engineering team, leading the development and management of analytics pipelines alongside data transfer pipelines and quality assurance systems. Prior to Sungage, Gus built and led the Data Engineering function at Q-State Biosciences, where he architected pipelines supporting drug discovery research and tackled data integrity challenges at billion-record scale.
